GETTING STARTED:

  • Friends and family can pledge per page or make a single donation.
  • Track pledges using the Sponsor Log (Form 2). Record full names and mailing addresses to ensure proper receipt distribution.
  • Sponsor Solicitation Letter is available to print with the forms packet above. 
  • Qualifies: age-appropriate books (fiction, non-fiction, the Bible), magazines (if read thoroughly), Kindle or e-reader with page count, audiobooks with page count, school-assigned reading outside of school hours, reading aloud or being read to. 
  • Does not qualify: reading assigned during class, reading a book more than once, digital books without a page count.
  • Use the Reading Log (Form 3) to log pages read to ensure we give you the correct prize.
  • Ask sponsors to give through the button below by January 31. If mailing a check, please be sure it will arrive by January 31.  
  • To gather sponsor pledges, use the Collection Letter available on package.
  • Make checks payable to Heralds of Hope. For cash donations, write a check for the cash amount; cash donations are not tax-deductible.
  • Please make sure that Form 2 has your sponsors’ full names and current mailing addresses. (Cash sponsors do not receive receipts.)
  • Note: For checks covering multiple children, include a memo or note specifying the donation amount for each child.
  • When we have received the checks, we will send your sponsors’ tax-deductible receipts. 
  • Fill out the Read-A-Thon Prizes (Form 4) to select your prize based on total donations.
  • Mail Forms 2 and 4, along with sponsors’ checks, to Heralds of Hope by January 31 to qualify for your prize. Alternatively, sponsors can give online below. 
  • Tax-deductible receipts will be sent to sponsors based on Form 2 information.
  • Prizes will be mailed by early March.

Heralds of Hope offers two distinctive teaching programs: The Voice of Hope and Hope for Today, each centered on expository Bible teaching. The Voice of Hope is a weekly, thirty-minute program in English, while Hope for Today is a fifteen-minute international program offered in 26 languages. Both are available through radio and social media platforms.
